April is Alcohol Awareness Month which aims to increase public awareness and understanding about alcohol misuse and abuse, the associated health and social problems affecting individuals, their families, and their communities, and available resources for treatment.

During this month, many schools, colleges, religious organizations and other community organizations sponsor various activities to raise awareness and educate the community; i.e., alcohol screenings, workshops.

Keep an eye out for event announcements closer to and throughout the month of April.
